The University of New Brunswick has opened the Canadian BioEnergy Centre, which will provide assistance to the bioenergy industry across Canada. The facility's lab has machines and equipment that allow it to directly assist the solid fuel industry.

N-Viro develops mobile fuel-producing facility


N-Viro International Corp. is developing its first full-scale facility that will produce its patented N-Viro fuel from wastewater residuals. The mobile unit will begin operation in Pennsylvania, but the company expects to move it around the country.

The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs has provided a $56,000 grant to the University of Alabama in Huntsville so that it can continue to assist ADECA in implementing its Biomass Energy Program.
