EPA finalizes E15 rule, steps back approach to RIN market reform


The EPA released its final E15/RIN market reform rule May 31. The rule extends the RVP waiver to E15. It also includes reforms to the RIN market compliance system, although those changes are less severe than those originally proposed by the agency.

Letter urges extension of 3 biofuel-related tax credits


Reps. Abby Finkenauer, D-Iowa, and Josh Harder, D-Calif., authored a letter June 3 urging the House Ways and Means Committee to retroactively extend several expired biofuel tax credits. The letter was signed by 17 additional members of the House.
