EPA finalizes E15 rule, steps back approach to RIN market reform The EPA released its final E15/RIN market reform rule May 31. The rule extends the RVP waiver to E15. It also includes reforms to the RIN market compliance system, although those changes are less severe than those originally proposed by the agency. READ MORE SHARE

	Maine utility announces RNG initiative Summit Natural Gas of Maine has announced a new renewable natural gas (RNG) program under which it will partner with the state's dairy industry to produce home-grown RNG through the construction of an anaerobic digester in Clinton, Maine. READ MORE SHARE
Report: Biomass accounts for 5.3% of Britain’s power in Q1 Data recently released by Imperial College London as part of the Drax Electric Insights Quarterly report shows that biomass accounted for 5.3 percent of the Britain’s electricity supply mix during the first quarter of 2019. READ MORE SHARE
Letter urges extension of 3 biofuel-related tax credits Reps. Abby Finkenauer, D-Iowa, and Josh Harder, D-Calif., authored a letter June 3 urging the House Ways and Means Committee to retroactively extend several expired biofuel tax credits. BP to supply renewable feedstock to Next Renewable Fuels Next Renewable Fuels and BP Products North America have entered into a feedstock supply agreement whereby Next will purchase approximately 2 million metric tons per year of feedstock for its proposed renewable diesel facility in Oregon from BP. Stobart increases volume of biomass fuel supplied U.K.-based Stobart Group Ltd. released fiscal 2018 financial results on May 29, reporting a 51 percent increase in the volume of biomass fuel it supplied to renewable energy plants when compared to fiscal year 2017. READ MORE SHARE
Dartmouth narrows list of potential sites for biomass project Hanover, New Hampshire-based Dartmouth College has narrowed down potential locations for the Dartmouth Green Energy Project to three options. A final location is expected to be selected by the end of summer. READ MORE SHARE
Canadian pulp and paper mill adds biomass energy production The Canadian government has announced it will invest $13.8 million in Kruger Inc. to support two projects, including one that will allow the company’s Corner Brook, Newfoundland, location to produce biomass energy. READ MORE SHARE
