UDSA: US pellet exports reach nearly 778,000 tons in November The U.S. exported 777,976.5 tons of wood pellets in November, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on Jan. 7. Exports were up when compared to both the previous month and November 2018. READ MORE SHARE
Report: Russia wood pellet production continues to grow A report recently filed with the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service’s Global Agricultural Information Network predicts that Russia’s wood pellet industry will continue to increase production and exports in response to growing demand from Europe. 	Port of Stockton reports first wood pellet shipment The Port of Stockton announced that the first wood pellet shipment from the port was successfully loaded to the M/V Global Serenity in December. National Carbon Technologies shipped the pellets from Michigan and they were loaded by Metro Ports. READ MORE SHARE
Enviva Forest Conservation Fund protects North Carolina watershed An important piece of the Little River watershed in the North Carolina Piedmont region will be protected for years to come in part through the help of a $20,000 grant from the Enviva Forest Conservation Fund to the Three Rivers Land Trust. Enviva provides special donation towards forest conversation Enviva recently made a sizeable donation to the North Carolina Tree Farm Program to keep the state’s forests healthy and productive.
