	Senate confirms Vilsack as ag secretary Tom Vilsack is once again leading the USDA. The Senate on Feb. 23 voted 92 to seven to confirm him as secretary of agriculture. Chevron, Brightmark expand partnership on dairy RNG projects Brightmark LLC and Chevron U.S.A. Inc. on Feb. 17 announced the expansion of their previously announced joint venture, Brightmark RNG Holdings LLC, to own projects across the United States to produce and market dairy biomethane. NGVAmerica releases new RNG vehicle value proposition report NGVAmerica on Feb. 16 released its Fuel a Greener Future report detailing the significant environmental and economic benefits of RNG-fueled fleeting. Calumet to produce renewable diesel at Montana refinery Calumet Specialty Products Partners L.P. on Feb. 16 announced plans to produce renewable diesel at its petroleum refinery in Great Falls, Montana. Greenlane Renewables signs $3.6 million in new contracts Greenlane Renewables Inc. on Feb. 18 announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Greenlane Biogas North America Ltd., has signed two contracts together worth $3.6 million (US$2.8 million) for new renewable natural gas (RNG) projects. EPA: 1 new SRE petition filed, 66 SRE petitions now pending The U.S. EPA released updated SRE data on Feb. 18, reporting that one new SRE petition has been filed for RFS compliance year 2020. A total of 66 SRE petitions are now pending, up from 65 that were pending as of Jan. 19. READ MORE SHARE
Agreement signed for Illinois RNG project On Feb. 10, Will County, Illinois, officials and its construction trade partners signed a project labor agreement (PLA) for the $45 million renewable natural gas (RNG) plant approved for construction at the county-owned Prairie View landfill. READ MORE SHARE
