EPA issues final rule to extend RFS compliance deadlines The EPA on March 23 published a rule extending the RFS compliance and attest engagement deadlines for 2020. The attest engagement deadline for 2021 was also extended, along with the 2019 compliance and attest engagement deadlines for small refiners. READ MORE SHARE

	Enviva, MOL partner to reduce biomass supply chain GHG emissions Enviva and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) have signed a memorandum of understanding agreement to develop and deploy an environmentally friendly bulk carrier. UK launches Green Fuel, Green Skies competition to support SAF The U.K. government on March 16 announced the launch of its £15 million ($20.65 million) Green Fuel, Green Skies competition to support the development facilities that can convert household waste, waste wood, and excess electricity into SAF. EPA: 1.26 billion RINs generated in February More than 1.26 billion renewable identification numbers were generated under the Renewable Fuel Standard in February, down from 1.54 billion reported for the same month of last year, according to data released by the U.S. EPA in mid-March. Avfuel now supplying Neste MY SAF at Monterey Jet Center Avfuel Corp. has announced it is supplying Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel on a consistent basis to its branded FBO, Monterey Jet Center (KMRY), in Monterey, California. Bill includes Clean Cities funding to support alternative fuels Legislation introduced by the 32 democratic members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee on March 11 could provide federal funding to support the development of alternative fuel infrastructure and expanded use of alternative fuel vehicles. Aemetis gains approval for 32-mile extension of biogas pipeline Aemetis Inc. on March 17 announced that the Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors has issued an approval for the construction of a 32-mile extension to the existing Aemetis Biogas 4-mile private pipeline that was completed in 2020.
