	EPA: 1.85 billion RINs generated in June The U.S. EPA has released updated renewable identification number (RIN) data showing that nearly 1.85 billion RINs were generated under the Renewable Fuel Standard in June, up from 1.77 billion RINs generated during the same month of 2021. READ MORE SHARE
EPA agrees to release proposed 2023 RVO in November The U.S. EPA and Growth Energy on July 22 filed a consent decree agreement with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that requires the agency to proposed 2023 RFS RVOs by Nov. 16, 2022, and finalize the 2023 RVOs by June 14, 2023. Synthica Energy announces new food waste RNG plant in Texas Synthica Energy LLC on July 22 announced the development of a new anaerobic digestion facility in northeast San Antonio, Texas. Gevo closes on site for SAF plant, plans fall groundbreaking Gevo Inc. has closed on the purchase of approximately 245 acres near Lake Preston, South Dakota, for its first commercial scale sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facility, Net-Zero 1.
