The U.K. Department for Energy Security and Net Zero on Dec. 2 opened a public comment period on a common biomass sustainability framework that is designed to strengthen existing biomass criteria and ensure greater consistency across sectors.
Waga Energy on Nov. 27 announced it has signed a $180 million four-year senior debt facility to boost its LFG to RNG platform in the U.S. with Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and HSBC Asset Management as lenders and lender agents.
Drax on Nov. 26 announced it will cease operations at its pellet plant in Williams Lake, British Columbia due to a significant reduction in fiber availability. The facility is expected to close before the end of the year.
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has announced it has successfully completed its RNG facility located at South Fork Dairy in Dimmitt, Texas. The facility is now producing pipeline-quality RNG and has begun injecting into the interstate natural gas pipeline.
