The U.S. EPA on July 16 released updated Renewable Fuel Standard data, reporting that two new small refinery exemption (SRE) petitions were filed under the program during the past month. A total of 42 SRE petitions are currently pending.
The USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture has awarded $5.6 million to support 11 projects that focus on converting, treating, processing, refining or manufacturing products to utilize plant, animal and woody biomass.
