Biomass Magazine announced this week the eight companies selected to pitch to a group of angel investors and venture capital firms at the International Biomass Conference & Expo, taking place March 31 – April 2, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.
SkyNRG has reached financial close for its SAF production facility DSL-01 at the Delfzijl chemical park in the north of the Netherlands. Once operational, it will produce 100,000 metric tons of SAF each year.
Total operable U.S. biofuel production capacity reached 25.304 billion gallons per year in November, with gains for ethanol and renewable diesel. Biodiesel capacity was down, according to data released by the U.S. EIA.
The U.S. EPA on Feb. 12 published a final rule rescinding the agency’s 2009 Greenhouse Gas Endangerment Finding, which formed the legal basis for the EPA’s GHG regulations, and repealed all subsequent GHG emission standards for vehicles.
Maas Energy Works on Feb. 9 announced the interconnection of a new renewable natural gas (RNG) facility located at Couco Creek Dairy in Turlock, California, with the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) natural gas system.
