The U.S. exported 743,157.7 metric tons of wood pellets in June, down from 853,395.1 metric tons in May, but up from 740,326.9 metric tons in June 2024, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on Aug. 5.&nbsp;The U.S. exported wood pellets to approximately 18 countries in June. The U.K. was the top destination for U.S. wood pellet exports at 646,628.4 metric tons, followed by Japan at 49,283.4 metric tons and France at 32,000 metric tons.&nbsp;The value of U.S. wood pellet exports fell to $144.43 million in June, down from $159.23 million in May and $145.28 million in June of last year.&nbsp;Total wood pellet exports for the first half of 2025 reached 4.85 million metric tons at a value of $934.1 million, compared to 4.82 million metric tons exported during the same period of 2024 at a value of $910.21 million.&nbsp;Additional data is available on the USDA FAS&nbsp;<a href="https://apps.fas.usda.gov/Gats/default.aspx">website</a>.&nbsp;
