The U.S. exported 873,783.9 metric tons of wood pellets in November, up from 839,226.4 metric tons the previous month and 655,590.3 metric tons in November 2023, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on Jan. 7.&nbsp;The U.S. exported wood pellets to more than a dozen countries in November. The U.K. was the top destination for U.S. wood pellet exports at 699,181 metric tons, followed by Japan at 124,883.4 metric tons and Denmark at 33,524.3 metric tons.&nbsp;The value of U.S. wood pellet exports reached $162.25 million in November, up from both $154.72 million in October and $116.73 million in November of the previous year.&nbsp;Total U.S. wood pellet exports for the first 11 months of 2024 reached 9.12 million metric tons at a value of $1.7 billion, compared to 8.56 million metric tons exported during the same period of 2023 at a value of $1.58 billion.&nbsp;Additional data is available on the USDA FAS&nbsp;<a href="https://apps.fas.usda.gov/Gats/default.aspx">website</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;
