The U.S. DOE will need a new Under Secretary now that Cathy Zoi announced her resignation. Zoi, also the assistant secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, is headed to Silicon Valley to join a new investment branch.
Former U.S. Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., may have retired in January after 30 years in Congress, but that doesn't mean he won't be busy. Dorgan has been elected to serve on Codexis Inc.'s board of directors.
