North Carolina-based Maverick Biofuels Inc. has announced plans to build a pilot-scale biorefinery that will convert biomass and municipal solid waste (MSW) into a mixed-alcohol biofuel.
The U.S. EPA has approved a fuel waiver allowing the use of E15 in model year 2007 and newer cars and light-duty trucks.
