UNICA: Ethanol production down in late November

Ethanol production by mills in the south-central region of Brazil was down in late November, according to data released by UNICA, the Brazilian sugarcane industry association. Corn ethanol production, however, continued to grow.

Borealis and Bionerga have announced the joint commissioning of Biostoom, a new waste-to-energy plant constructed and operated by Bionerga in Beringen, Belgium. The cogeneration facility produces electricity and steam.
