Braya Renewable Fuels on Feb. 22 announced that its project to convert an oil refinery in Come By Chance, Newfoundland and Labrador, to renewable fuels is now complete and that commercial operations have commenced.
Ameresco Inc. on Feb. 21 announced its award from Hawaiian Electric Co. for the proposed 'Ūkiu Energy 40-MW renewable energy site in Maui. The proposed facility will include a biofuel-powered generator with six dual-fuel engines.
BPC Instruments AB announced it has secured a purchase order from a U.S. national laboratory for two of its Gas Endeavour systems for use in biogas applications. The laboratory instruments measure gas production or consumption.
