Pacific Ethanol Inc. is installing a 5 MW photovoltaic power system designed and built by Borrego Solar Systems at its Madera, California, ethanol plant. Pacific Ethanol financed $10 million of the investment through the CleanFund SolarPACE program.
On Sept. 26, Green Plains Inc. announced it has completed the acquisition of three ethanol plants from Abengoa Bioenergy and immediately sold the ethanol storage assets associated with those plants to Green Plains Partners LP.
China issues preliminary duties against US DDGS

China's Ministry of Commerce has issued a preliminary determination claiming that U.S. dried distillers grains with or without solubles (DDGS) are being dumped and have caused injury to China's DDGS industry.
