Drax Group has announced an MOU with Viking CCS, the Humber-based CO2 transportation and storage network led by Harbour Energy, together with non-operated partner bp, to assess options to transport and store CO2 in the Humber region.

Renewables are currently expected to account for 24% of U.S. electricity generation in 2024, increasing to 25% in 2025, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, released March 12.
