Pellet Mill Magazine Goes Quarterly in 2013

By Anna Simet | December 31, 2012

As work begins on the February issue of Biomass Magazine, the first 2013 issue of Pellet Mill Magazine is also on our brains.

Most of you may know that we started Pellet Mill Magazine as a bi-annual supplement to Biomass Magazine back in the spring of 2011, but based on how well it’s been received, we’re pleased to have made the decision to go quarterly. Issues will be printed in April, July, September and December.

In PMM, we cover all facets of the fuel pellet industry, from residential to industrial to utility-scale use, from domestic consumption to export trends, overseas markets, unconventional feedstocks and technological innovation. There really is something for everyone involved in the industry.

Going quarterly is really exciting, as you never know to what degree of success a new publication will achieve. In this case, I think it’s pretty indicative of how the fuel pellet industry is steadily growing and strengthening, on both a domestic and global level.

To further back up that statement, I’ll add that our International Biomass Conference & Expo abstract review team has finished up its work, and the number and quality of pellet and densified biomass abstracts (for which we have a dedicated track for) and posters we received was better than ever. You can expect an IBCE agenda out very soon.

Happy New Year!
