The CatOx system is typically installed downstream of H₂S removal, siloxane removal, and compression equipment, ensuring that sulfur and silicon-based contaminants do not impact catalyst performance. To meet final product specifications, the unit can be integrated with downstream drying equipment to remove the water generated during the oxidation reaction, delivering a purified CO₂ stream suitable for beneficial reuse.
