The Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) Namibian campus is a center of research for applied science to conserve biodiversity and benefit farmers. The CCF Biomass Technology Demonstration Center (BTDC) operates a vertically-integrated wood briquette factory (BUSHBLOK®) and investigates other ways to add value to the sustainable harvest of Namibia’s thickened thornbush. Projects include animal feed, biochar, barbecue wood, compost, wood pelleting, torrefaction, and electricity production via gasification. We are a founding member of the Namibian Biomass Industry Group.
