Clean Energy Fuels Corp. sold 61.3 million gallons of renewable natural gas (RNG) during the third quarter, up 3% when compared to the same period of last year, according to information released by the company on Nov. 4.&nbsp;During an earnings call, Clean Energy President and CEO Andrew Littlefair reported that the company’s two largest dairy projects—one in Texas and one in Idaho—have recently begun initial operations. With those two projects now online, Clean Energy has eight projects in operation.&nbsp;The company also broke ground on three additional RNG projects during the third quarter under its joint development agreement with Maas Energy Works. The three projects span six dairies located in South Dakota, Florida and New Mexico. Once fully operational, the plants are expected to produce approximately 3 million gallons of RNG annually.&nbsp;While renewable identification number (RIN) prices under the Renewable Fuel Standard have stabilized, Littlefair noted California Low Carbon Fuel Standard credit prices continue to have some headwinds that are impacting profitability of the company’s RNG segment. LCFS program changes, however, are expected to tighten the market and support gradual price improvement in 2026 and beyond, he added.&nbsp;Littlefair also noted that the 45Z clean fuel production credit is an important driver of diary RNG development. Clean Fuels will begin to monetize its 2025 45Z credits once Treasury finalizes its guidance.&nbsp;Clean Energy reported revenue of $106.1 million for the third quarter of 2025, up from $104.69 million during the same period of last year. Net loss was $23.8 million, or 11 cents per share, on a GAAP basis, compared to a loss of $18.2 million, or 8 cents per share, reported for the third quarter of 2024. Adjusted EBTIDA was $17.3 million, down from $21.3 million.&nbsp;
