The U.S. EPA on Jan. 15 released data showing nearly 23.25 billion renewable identification numbers (RINs) were generated under the Renewable Fuel Standard in 2025, down more than 8% when compared to 2024.
The U.S. EPA on Jan. 15 released new data showing one new small refinery exemption (SRE) petition was filed under RFS during the past month. A total of 26 SRE petitions are currently pending, up from 25 that were pending as of mid-December.
Hillsborough County has selected Waga Energy to build, own, operate, and maintain an RNG production unit at the Southeast County Landfill in Lithia, Florida. When in operation, the plant will be able to produce up to 610,000 MMBtu of RNG per year.
