PBF Energy reports increased renewable diesel production

PBF Energy Inc. on Feb. 13 announced that its St. Bernard Renewables facility produced 17,000 barrels per day of renewable diesel during the fourth quarter, up from 13,000 barrels per day during the third quarter.
Enviva has announced it will close its 115,000-metric-ton-per-year wood pellet plant in Amory, Mississippi, effective Feb. 7. The company cited market dynamics and the facility’s infrastructure and operations as reasons for the closure.

EPA: 2.03 billion RINs generated under RFS in November

The U.S. EPA on Dec. 19 released data showing that 2.03 billion RINs were generated under the RFS in November, up from 2.01 billion generated during the same month of 2023. Nearly 22.9 billion RINs were generated during the first 11 months of 2024.
